The Halifax Rowing Center

Located on City Island Park overlooking the waters of the Halifax River in Daytona Beach, Florida, this impressive Boathouse is home to the Halifax Rowing Association and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Crews.

Housing more than 50 boats across 3 boat bays, the Rowing Center is able to accommodate the largest of Clubs, especially taking into consideration the miles of rowable water going in either direction on the Waterway. There is plenty of room for multiple crews and programs, as well as for independent rowers to store personal boats with easy access.

Also within its doors are more than 20 Concept 2 rowing machines (“Ergs”), various weights, weight machines and equipment, and Men’s and Women’s locker rooms equipped with showers. Ample parking in the adjacent parking lot provides quick access for all rowers and convenient and easy access for visiting Crews.
